What Better way to start the Christmas Holiday!

As I sit in my Christmas PJs, snuggled on the sofa by the Christmas tree, I reflect on what a wonderful experience ‘Santa Claus and the Great Christmas Caper’ has been. Yesterday evening was closing night at Sleaford Playhouse and the uproarious applause is still ringing in my ears. Sell-out audiences over ten performances! Sleaford Little Theatre really has been such a welcoming and supportive group to work with.

Right from the outset, when I put forward my proposal to write a festive comedy adventure, they have been nothing but encouraging and helpful. In a world where it can often take a seemingly eternal length of time for life to be breathed into a script, it seems strange that this project went from pitch to production in under a year. I will always remember how strange it felt to be writing about elves at the snowy North Pole in near 40-degree heat we were subjected to this Summer.
