The Sorcerer’s Apprentice

The action takes place in a classroom and the dining hall of Joseph Blundell Secondary School, in the Misfits’ Clubhouse, in Ophelia’s bedroom and in the street outside her house.

Ophelia Flinders is a loner, a bit odd. All the pupils at Joseph Blundell Secondary School think so but Jaime Emerson wonders if there is more to her than meets the eye and sets out to discover just exactly why she is so strange. One dreary Saturday afternoon, Jaime is invited to Ophelia’s notoriously spooky house on the edge of town and soon finds out a secret which will change both of their lives forever . . . Ophelia Flinders’ father is a sorcerer and she is his apprentice. Very soon, Jaime and his schoolmates are caught up in a chaotic and crazy world of magic and mystery; full of vampires, werewolves, witches and warlocks.
