Bag Lady

In 2013, I was asked to write a short film script by Nathan Hughes (my friend and long-time collaborator) for his amateur film company, Humpback Bridge Productions.My only restrictions were that it needed to be something short (5 minutes-ish) and with no dialogue . . . oh, and something that could be filmed easily on location in Lincolnshire (so no scenes that required rolling mountains or skyscrapers as a backdrop).I came up with a little story called ‘Bag Lady’ which told the tale of a man down on his luck and what happens when he meets a mysterious tramp on his way to work.It was filmed in a day, in and around Boston, with two of our talented actor friends, Abby Johnson and Matt Barnes, in the lead roles.
