Oh, I Do Like to Be Beside the Seaside!

Reflecting on a wonderful weekend in Hunstanton at the One-Act Play Festival held at the Princess Theatre. We returned in the late hours of yesterday evening after the awards ceremony and, although there were no wins for me this year, Iā€™m still smiling with joy and gratitude at having spent such a fun-filled few days with a beautiful bunch of creative people celebrating the diversity of theatre. Heckington Playersā€™ entered ā€˜Hell Wolves and Shadow Hawks this year and I was lucky enough to be nominated for Best Original Script again. However, after three consecutive years of winning, I was happy to see the trophy in the hands of my talented, good friend, Laura Griffin. My cast were truly wonderful and deserve all the plaudits and recognition they received. A huge thank to Stephen P Hayter and his committee for continuing to organise the annual festival.
