Done and Dusted

Judy and Michelle share a friendship which is long standing and if not equal, equally enjoyed. They make it their business to help people in their local community in whatever way they can. So, when they discover Emma, a young woman from the neighbourhood, is struggling to cope with the sudden death of her husband, they decide to offer their support and organise a morning of tea and sympathy. When neighbour, Pauline, arrives, her brusque practical advice and opinionated behaviour seems at odds with Judy and Michelle’s more gentle approach, and as Emma becomes more agitated, the morning takes an unexpected turn.

“If you like Inside Number 9, or tales with a twist, you will enjoy Done & Dusted . . . Some very funny moments . . . Such an interesting and dark tale, exploring womanhood . . . it touched elegantly on the effect of bereavement and grief on individuals, and how well-meaning advice is not always welcome, yet neither is indulging in the whims of the exhausted overawed mind.”
Jules Jones, NODA East Midlands Councillor

“Kei has a flair for observation . . . and clever witty lines.”
Verity Jowett, Adjudicator, Hunstanton One Act Drama Festival
